The Manhattan's Fish Market

This is my first time writing a blog about food by the way...
If there's anything you need me to edit,
do feel free to contact me :)

Venue: The Manhattan's Fish Market, Yishun North Point
Specialty: seafood
Genre: Western/Italian

Once stepped into this restaurant, I was fascinated by the unique wall design and nice cushion. We took the table near the wall, which allowed us to have a thorough view of the whole restaurant.

We ordered the Manhattan's fish and chips, Flaming Platter for one, and a fried mushroom snack.

--fried mushroom with special sauce

--Manhattan's fish n chips

--Flaming platter for one

And, they really did some flaming on the dish.

After flamed, the creamy sauce on the seafood become thick yet soft for diners. The garlic herb rice laid quietly underneath the fancy seafood, and we need to move the seafood a bit just to taste it. It was really nice while the rice turned our taste bud on before we went on with the delicious fish and prawns.

Manhattan's fish n chips seemed more ordinary if compared with the flaming platter. Yet, if you're a fry fry lover, you sure will fall in love with the crispy breaded fish and the special fries with herbs.

The dishes also comes with 3 kinds of add-on sauces.

chilli sauce - just nice for the fries~

Tartar sauce - it's a good add-on for the crispy dolly fish :)

garlic- you may wonder what's it for. Well, after I tried to add it on the grilled fish, surprisingly, it covered up the bitter taste of the over-grilled herbs, isn't the chef brilliant to create such a wonderful add-on sauce? :D

{Service}
For this Yishun branch, I would give out 3/5.
The waitress' service was not too good before we started to order food.
We need to call up for around 2 to 3times before she attended to our table.
Yet, after that, they did good service by refilling our glass, and clearing the empty dishes and make room for us to dine more comfortably. :)

{Surrounding}
Soft music volume, quite good for family and friends gathering.
Kid's noise: Assemble.
Crowd noise: Assemble, but not too affected.

{Overall Rating}
6 out of 10.
